The Dino Cafe

Last June John and I went to Ireland
for 5 weeks to help a friend, David Gavin
with his project.

So we turned a huge hall into a
medieval fairy tale banquet area.

It has to be said that the project actually is
a dinosaur exhibition.

Below you will find pictures of our work there.
Click on the Dino Cafe Banner to find out
what it is all about.

The huge walls all had to be painted and decorated.

All the bricks were plaster cast, stuck on the wall and painted. The dragon door was done individually.

Climbing up and down scaffolding is still not my favourite thing to do, but you get used to it

The hall in all its glory.

I painted this dragon on one of the walls

I even could find a spot to put some unicorns into place

Honestly, what kind of fairy tale would that be without unicorns? But I also love painting them!
